Homemade Henna

I have finally learned how to make and cone my own henna!  I still need a lot of practice, but I'm so excited to finally be able to do this.  I never would have started this henna journey without the help of my friend Kim.  She's an excellent teacher and always fun to spend time with!  I not only learned a lot about making henna, I had a great time going it.  Thanks for the henna and your patience, Kim! I love you!!

Henna Candles

Hi!  I recently decided to start putting Henna Designs on candles and rocks.  What do you think?  Here are some of the ones I already made and started selling.  At this time I will be taking custom orders if you'd like one.  It will be first come first serve because I need to order more henna, but I will let you know where you are in line.  Let me know what size candle you want, as well as what kind of design.  Text, E-mail, or Private Message me on Facebook and I will get back to you as soon as I can!

Illumin8 Holistic Expo 10/11

Oh my goodness!  I truly had a wonderful time at the Illumin8 Holistic Expo held at Jennifer & Co. in Mentor Ohio.  Sadly, I didn't get a reading this time, but my mom had her first reading and I was so excited for her!  As usual, I met a lot of really awesome people, and built stronger bonds with the people I already knew.  I donated a Henna Candle.  There were some of perks to doing henna at a hair salon.  1. I used one of the rolling stools the pedicurists use, so I could move around freely.  2. The client sat in a salon chair, which I could move around or lock as needed and they were more comfortable.  3. The little sticks they use for waxing come in very handy when I make a mistake.  I had a great time yesterday and I'm looking forward to December's Expo.  I'd like to say thank you to Patti for putting everything together.  The Expo was wonderful and well thought out and you just did a great job.  Thanks to Jennifer for letting us use her space, it's a beautiful salon.  Thank  you to the vendors.  I loved all of your products!  And last, but not least, my family and friends for your support.  Thank you so much for all of you do for me.  You're all so important to me and I don't know where I'd be without you.

I had a great time last night with some of the ladies at Jennifer & Co!  Everyone was so friendly and helpful.  Ladies, thanks for your help and for being my newest models.  Patti, thank you so much for setting the whole thing up.  You rock!  I'm so excited for Sunday.  I can't wait to see you all on Sunday at Illumin8's Holistic Expo ☺
Friends who need a henna fix had better come check out this event.  There will be Reiki, Readings, Vendors, and obviously Henna by Josie!!  I have been waiting for this for quite a long while and I'm beyond excited for this.

The Lantern of Madison is in need of donations to help raise money for the Walk to End Alzheimer's.  We're very close to our fundraising goal and need to accomplish this by Friday.  So, anyone who makes a donation of $5 or more to help our cause will get a henna design of equal value!!!  Please help us reach our goal.  Much of the Lantern's staff and families will be walking on Sunday and we all are very determined to reach this goal.  Last year, we were the top fundraisers, and we want that title for 2015 as well.

Light Up the Park 2015

I think it's safe to say Madison Township's Light up the Park was a success!!  The entertainment was great and the fireworks at the end of the day was icing on the cake!  They were wonderful ☺  I had a great time, and per usual, I met some really awesome people.  I'd like to shout out to Ria of Ria's Glass Crafts and More.  She has a lot of wonderful items, including the Christmas ornament I bought of Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas.  All in all, I had a great time.  This was my second time here and I loved it just as much this time as the last.  Light up the Park keep getting better each year and I can't wait to see how much it continues to grow.  I can't wait to see what they have in store for 2016!!   For Henna by Josie, things have grown from last year as well.  I finally broke down and bought a canopy tent, so good news is, I won't have to buy another one!  At least for a while...  I am now selling Henna Candles and Rocks!  I'll post more info about them soon ☺  I also made my first Henna Sign, It's at the very least a first draft.., Let me know what you think because I'm not sure.  I need suggestions!!  I'd like to thank my family for helping me prepare for this event and coming to see me ♥.  You're the best groupies around!
